MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

There is something going on with MWEB since the Seacom outage.
My service is not the same since then - last 2 days very slow to no connection.

Sending this from my cell - adsl can't load full pages

Century City area

Then again, How ethical is it to cut someone's account on a Friday afternoon after 16:00?
Why not do it at a respectable time when there is still time to do something?

If you are saying " yes it is uncapped and you can download as much as you'd like", then why did you cut me off?

I have only had a 4mb account for about a month, so how do you generate a trend and how do you justify cutting my account?

At what point did i use too much? and how do you justify your action?

How much is too much?

Good morning andycap,

Please provide me your MWEB account details via direct message so I can have a clear understanding of what has transpired.

Hi MWEB Guy, could you refresh my account or let me know whether there is a problem in Durban please? My International has been insanely slow for a week now and at the moment it I am unable to load most International pages. My pings are in the Upper triple digit spectrum and my Tracerts are worse! :(

Good Morning Schitzo, we have reported outages in your area at the moment and no internal outages at the moment. Your line readings also seem fine at the moment, I have re-authed your account. Please reboot your router for at least one minute and let me know if that has improved your experience.

Why can't someone just officially confirm these is a mother*er somewhere, because its not my router!

Good Morning MrBroadBand, there are no reported outages in your area at the moment. The SEACOM outage has also been restored.

Your line readings do show a very high attenuation which could be affecting your experience; 59.5 dB. Please have Telkom provide you a reason for the high attenuation.

I have changed a setting on your account and re-authed your account, please reboot your router for at least 1 minute. Please be aware that this may not resolve your problem, as it is only an interim measure.

This is just all kinds of bad, this is on a 1mb account...

Good Morning Magnarmalok, we have reported outages in your area at the moment and your line readings are good at the moment.

I have re-authed your account, please reboot for 1 minute and let me know if this improves your experience. Please also ensure that you provide me speed test results with no active traffic running in the back ground.

Good Morning Dion Disco, there are no reported outages in your area and the SEACOM outage has been restored.

Your line readings however do show a very high attenuation reading of 63.5 dB which will affect your experience. Please have Telkom provide you a reason, as to why your attenuation is that high. Looking at your account, I do see allot of router disconnections as well. If you are not physically disconnecting the router, the attenuation can also be causing this.

Please inbox me pertaining the disconnections and I will assist by troubleshooting your hardware.

My speeds are a bit bad again today. Only getting half my line speed, same with local speedtests.

Good Morning SpleenPoker, is there any active traffic on your network when you are doing a speed test?

Thanks for the reply...but...

Your comment......" You managed to do 687.0gig last month."

Firstly, is this or is this not an "Uncapped account"? If it is an uncapped account, and you have cancelled my account, then you have falsely advertised and used the word "Uncapped", or would the ASA need to have a closer look at how you use the word "Uncapped"?

You are also evading the questions, please answer the following?

1. On your " MWEB ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY" please tell me exactly where you state what is the maximum allowed usage?

2. If the account is "Uncapped", isn't this false advertising?

3. What is the maximum allowed on an "uncapped" account?

4. How ethical is it to cut someone's account on a Friday afternoon after 16:00.

5. Is it not true that your "MWEB ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY" is written in such a vague manner that you can bend it to whatever way you want?

Please respond to each point.
