btw, doing an apt-get upgrade on my Debian server, 30-60kb/s from Debian.org :(

Also - you already asked to monitor my account when I complained about Youtube and I have not received feedback on that yet.

I generally pause any download services/apps that I use when I make use of Youtube etc; Or I trhottle them to 100KB/s which should leave 300KB/s slack for streaming, but even if I shut down my PCs and stream from my iPad it's not perfect.

When you stream from your Ipad, the wireless signal could come in to play there.

I'm trying to watch a Youtube video now, and it's dead in the water.

I really want to be annoyed at someone, but I am not sure who yet...

What do you get for www.youtube.com/my_speed for the 'ISP' speed?

at 4am atm and I get this:

Which, if accurate, shows a pretty bad state for throughput.

MWEB Guy: Still no change from my last PM, updated my router firmware, my line is syncing fine, 4096/512 I can rape Astraweb and other downloads at 420KB/s now (I think the firmware helped a little there) but I still cannot stream 720p.

All my devices are turned off, my PC was rebooted, no other services like dropbox/windows update and so on are running, downloaded VLC Media Player, 420KB/s, Astraweb, 420KB/s and so on.. Youtube is the killer, and some other video streaming sites too.

I'll PM you when I'm awake to take a call from a tech, thanks for the assist.

Hi Mweb Guy just wanted to inform you that there is a fault in the Bellair/Hillary Suburb in Mount Vernon(Queensbourgh) area. They said that a cable has been damaged due to lightening. And as usual they are taking forever to fix it

I know that maintenance was scheduled for today, and just need to ask if that would dramatically affect MMO's?

Planetside has become near unplayable and websites (even google) are taking their time to load...
