My latencies and speeds have dropped again, was brilliant this morning now getting :

How are your speeds this morning?
 
Fine, come midday still alright come evening, i struggle to play online and latencies are high again

Will do, the weird thing is in the morning before 9 am as im still home before work downloads run at sometimes 6-8Mbps then when i check my machine later in the day it goes back to 4Mbps and then at night speedtests are all fine at 4Mbps but latencies are here and there, trying to play on UK BLOPS 2 Servers and get intermittent connections. Goin to run some tests my side then will PM you from there.

The Account reset last week helped but has gone down since

I tried calling mwebs sales support line and no one answered a little irritating your technical support line was answered in less than one ring

but anyway here is my question

I have a 10 meg uncapped data only account with you guys
My Plan is to make it an all inclusive account so I want to add my adsl line rental to this
I plan to do this once my line is properly installed in my new house
There is one issue though they are struggling to get a good SNR so the technician mentioned that he can move me to WIMAX
He assures me I will still be able to use my normal modem and my Mweb account,
My Question is if he does this will I still be able to change my line to an all inclusive line with MWEB?

Hi killkom

If he does that and moves you over to wimax then you will not be able to move it to MWEB.
 
I will push him to look at the line my next door neighbour has the exact same house as mine and his SNR is 10 and his Line attenuation is 56 mine Line attenuation is 48 so I am on a closer exchange but my SNR is 5.2 which does not make sense to me

The lines from the street to the houses are also brand new they were installed about 2 months ago so its all new copper here so I have no idea why I have such bad SNR

I will push him to fix the line instead
 
Finally back online, and connection is running 100% :D turned out our router got fried thanks to the storm along with an underground cable
 
ADSL has been down for 3+ hours already, Router and line seems to be fine, just can't connection to Mweb :(

No, I haven't. Everything was fine till the connection randomly timed out and now I'm getting the no response on the PPPoE

reset your router and set it up again and test.

1 more test, setup the router with the Telkom guest details and try to access the Telkom site.

No go, still not connecting to PPPoE. Don't know if its the line (even though its syncing to the line) or the exchange.
 
Web browsing is slow and so is streaming for past 2 days... took about 30 seconds to load mybroadband . co . za anyone els feeling this ?

Edit* streaming is dead.
