No go, still not connecting to PPPoE. Don't know if its the line (even though its syncing to the line) or the exchange.

Morning

If this is what is happening, I will log a line fault with Telkom. They will need to investigate what is happening.

Web browsing is slow and so is streaming for past 2 days... took about 30 seconds to load mybroadband . co . za anyone els feeling this ?

Edit* streaming is dead.

Morning Shuyin

Are you still experiencing this?

Yep Http and streaming are really slow again even on a 240p video its takes about 1 minute for every 10 seconds. P2P seems fine

Good Evening, you have moved 26,6 gig already for the day.

Our system show's that you have 3 different connections at the same time, generating 3 different ip's. How many active devices do you have on your network at the moment?

Hi All

Suffer with speed. Did a couple of speed test not got.
A couple with mybroadband and with another default factor. Both report very low speeds.
Don't know what is going on. I have with Telkom a 2Mb connection and a 1Mb uncapped account with Mweb.

Did a new install Antivirus Bitnetdefender Windows 8 Security. Who knows?

Regards

Your speed test results are not bad for a 1MB account.

Since yesterday afternoon, I have been having issues accessing certain websites, like www.standardbank.co.za, www.cisco.com, www.mybroadband.co.za and MWEB sites takes forever to open. Please could you try to assist me further as I can't even download apps from google playstore. This has been very frustrating for me and I have doen the reseting of the router and MWEB even reset my account, with the same issue. I can tracert to some of the sites but the webpage itself doesnt open and basically just hangs.
I even tried different browsers and computers with the same effect, I had to type this post using my 3g.

Morning ApacheSting

I wouldl ike to look into this from our side. Please can you PM me the MWEB email address or username so that I can do so.

My first call to Mweb customer support in 3 years...what a big dud. No answering after holding two times for ten+ minutes at least until their system bomb out. Bloody useless, Mweb :(
After recent line problems(weather related) I am being throttled to 1Mbps on my 4 Mbps line. My usage up to now has only been 138 Gig, and it is definitely Mweb throttling me, as my WA backup account is going at full blast. Based upon previous months the 138Gig is well below normal.
Given that most of my family is in the USA this Christmas and we expect to do some heavy Skyping, this is not acceptable service in the least. Get you Technical Services sorted out - I don't care if it Sunday or the 23rd of December, I expect quality service, I am paying for it.

After a third try I got through. My problem was solved (had to reset my account for a new IP address). The lady on the phone was pretty good, so an A+ on that, but a F- minus on my calls disconnecting after holding for an extended period of time. Even Telkom manage to not disconnect me after 30 minutes+ of holding. Thanks for your quick reply.
