MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

Quick question for the guys on 2mbps, I'm considering downgrading from 4mbps to 2mbps uncapped. What is your download total per month on average? How's the youtube streaming? I currently do an average of 250GB, is that possible on 2mbps?
 
SIGH... 3rd night now where my internet is useless! has these major lag spikes

Getting 4mb speeds again. Had to get telkom to reset the port though. I have no idea why that affected only the mweb account and not the other service providers but at least everything seems fine now.

I have reauthenticated your account, allow 30 minutes then restart your router and test.
Let me know if this has improved or not.
 
I have to give Mweb some credit. After weeks of struggling with 3-10k latency to international game servers and 56k download speeds on Afrihost, I am now trialing an mweb account and its amazing. Im literally getting 160 latency to European servers. Its all just smooth cruizing. I will be signing up at mweb when my trial runs out.

Everything slow tonight? YouTube nadda!

Anyone else have where it hangs for a while, downloads run at 400kb/s then down to 0kb/s for a second then backup, then it repeats?

I am not aware of any of that sorts of problems on our network.

I have reauthed your account, allow 30 minutes then restart your router and let me know if this continues to happen.

I have a static IP uncapped 4meg package, that's the one that is slow. :confused:

the home 4meg account is fine.....
 




Once again having ping issues. Why is it that when I ping Durban, my latency is over double that to Cape Town? Dinx giving us it's usual crap?
 
How do I get hold of a test account?
I have a 4Mbps line with Telkom as ISP.

Local ping = 200ms
International = 400ms

Countless complaints have helped nothing.

A 4Mbps capped or 2Mbps uncapped test account would be appreciated.

Are you getting the same results if you do the tests again or has things improved?

My line is still dead. For some reason my mail comes omes in. But that is it. My Dropbox is dead my Skype is dead can you play reset my line on your side I dud a reboot reset the modem and the wifi. but still
My line says connected but there is no data flowing
