I have a 200gb 100/50meg fibre line with Mweb and openserve. I'm getting throttled from 7pm to 11pm everyday. I am actually ok with this in terms of download speeds being terrible around this time for watching Twitch.tv etc.

What I ain't happy about is the extra latency and packetloss that comes with it. Like it's a small increase for both during this period but wtf - it's a CAPPED 100MEG LINE. Can I not have stable latency with no packetloss for over R1000 per month?

Like it hurts. I've been with Mweb for ages because their international latency is literally some of the best and most consistent among ANY ISP in South Africa. Is this throttling across all Mweb users for peak times? Is there a package from Mweb that could avoid this? Premium? What?

Looking at WebAfrica right now but I keep seeing random latency differences on their trial account.

Anyone experiencing any issues with Mweb at the moment?

My internet is barely accessible since last night, no outages have been reported in my area and even Mweb’s own website, likewise with IS, and client portal are crawling (more so than others).

I was playing The Division 2 last night, then around 11h-12h'ish it went into a redundant lag, and am still experiencing this issue across the www. My account and everything else is in order and as already said there is no outage in my area. Telkom’s internet is behaving without any issue.

No, I am not throttled or capped. Just want to know whether something is up because I don’t have a backup account anymore… Things like this that wants me to change ISP.

I guess IS is having more than an HDD issue...
