MWEB Uncapped service terrible lately

I've seen a lot of people complaining on the Mweb facebook page about terrible speeds lately.
For the last couple of weeks, my speeds have been atrocious.

I have just done a comparison between my Mweb and my FNB Connect account, and the Mweb account is performing terribly, from both a P2P/Torrent perspective and international download perspective.

I posted this same message on the facebook wall, and it mysteriously goes missing.

Anyone else having issues?
Time for a new uncapped service provider methinks - any suggestions?
 
166gb used this month so far, not a hitch..

No bypassing of shaping either.

What area are you in? Have you called their support numbers? What have you checked to make sure the problem isn't on your side?

I often get issues, but after looking around, they are 90% of the time on my end. I didn't even bother to check if MWEB was down the other day when they had issues, spent two hours double and triplechecking my own network because that's more likely the problem.
 
haven't had a single speed issue with mweb since last year, still the best product on the market by far.
 
I'm on mweb uncapped (4mb) and I haven't noticed any problems. Downloads run at full speed.
 
I'm on Mweb as well. At almost 100gig this month. Torrents are +-100kb/s from 7pm - 10pm, then they open up to full speed all night till about 7am where they get cut down to +/-20kb/s for the daytime

So it isn't just me? I have been unable to connect to Steam for the past 3 days now.

I'm in the East Rand.
 
same here, cant even RDP home to my mweb connected pc, but the backup link via afrihost is 100%
also having 1500ms+ latency and 80% packet loss/ping timeouts to the mweb one :(
 
atm seems problem at top side of s.a, cause here in cpt im being cut off from p2p and usenet, what happens when seacom is down , maybe being router though cpt centre.

Yes, they took a leaf out of DSTV's book on that ploy. Remove any comments they don't like and leave the rest.
