mweb zimbra client how to forward email.

Hi all


Assisting a client

she has an mweb email address she seldomly uses, but still has emails coming in that she would like to access the mail.

She would like the mweb mail forwarded to her current address, and most logically the correct way would be to set something up on the MWeb account (Zimbra) settings, but cannot for the life of me find a option which will let me enter her new email address to forward mail to.

Will someone kindly please point me in the right direction.

i dont know how that zimbra works, can you not load it in outlook then create a rule to forward the mails?

You can set up a forwarding email address with an option to keep a copy of the email, here:

Log in, go to My products, go to Mailbox settings, go to Mail Forwarding

This only works for the main user email address. Mweb also allows up to 5 other mailboxes of 10MB each but these are only accessible through Zimra or can be downloaded via POP3.

10mb for an email inbox? Is that a typo?

No typo. Standard MWEB Mailboxes are 2GB each and you can have 4 or 5 users on the account, each at either 10 or 20mb. I can't remember which. Each gets their own @MWEB or @iAfrica or @Netactive or @tiscali address.

That's an old grandfathered thing dating back to the days of dial up.
