@Mweb Support I have received good help from this Rep.
Hello @
PlanesTrainsAutomobiles
We can see why this is frustrating, especially when emails from legitimate, regular senders continue landing in Junk even after you’ve marked both the sender and domain as trusted.
If you’ve already added the senders/domains to your trusted list, a few other checks are worth making:
• Check your Junk/Spam rules and blocked-sender list: A conflicting rule or blocked entry can override a trusted-sender setting. Removing any matching entries can allow those messages through normally.
• Check whether the affected emails are being filtered upstream: If the messages are being classified as spam before they reach your mailbox, marking the sender as trusted in your mail client may not override that filtering. This is particularly useful to investigate if the same senders are consistently affected.
• Check the message headers of one affected email: The headers can show the sender authentication results, including SPF, DKIM and DMARC. These checks help establish whether the sending domain is authenticating correctly and can explain why otherwise legitimate mail is being classified as suspicious.
• Test with one affected sender: If possible, note the sender address, date/time of the latest message and whether it landed in Junk again after being marked as trusted. That gives our technical team something specific to trace rather than treating this as a general spam-filtering issue.
If you’re still seeing the problem after these checks, please send us your registered Mweb profile email address via DM, along with the affected sender address and, if possible, the headers from one of the messages that landed in Junk. We can then look at the account and filtering behaviour more specifically and advise from there.
We know you’ve already tried the obvious fix, so there’s no value in sending you back to repeat the same steps. We look forward to your update via DM.
Kind regards,
The Mweb Team
