MX1000 - dodgy movement

Move your router further away from the PC.

Buy a USB extension cord and stick the Bluetooth dongle thing in it and put it closer to the mouse, it's a common problem and these 2 things seems to have helped.

I have been using my mx1000 since 2005, and well yes, sometimes it is qa bit crappy, seriously doubt that I will ever buy a wireless mouse or keyboard again.

What you can try perhaps, is press the button on the front of the docking station for the mouse, and then the button at the bottom of the mouse, so that they try to synch again

Also you can try updating to the latest version of Set Point but sometimes older versions might even work better, best way is to try multiple version and use the one that gives you the least lag/jerkiness.

I personally use SetPoint 260 with my G5 :)

Okay I moved the router away from the PC case (it was right next to it) and it seems fine now. Thanks for your help guys.

Great stuff :)

@beanie
Do you use the older version by choice, or are you just too lazy to upgrade? I've got v4.1 and haven't noticed any problems. Though I never used any previous version, so I haven't got anything to compare it to.

By choice, SetPoint 330 messed up all of my configurations for my mouse and reset my sensitivity to 800DPI every few hours... SetPoint 260 works just fine :)
