MXit for Windows Mobile 1.0

Hey guys

Sorry if this has been posted already (though I did a search to make sure) but MXit v1.0 for Windows Mobile phones has been released.

You can just go to the usual http://www.mxit.co.za/wap website, select any ol' WM phone and you're ready to download the installable .cab file. It's up and running on my Samsung i780, with full QWERTY support and no annoying WM java problems.

EDIT: Whoops. Just occured to me that the heading of this thread can be a bit confusing. Let me rephrase, MXit v1.0 for Windows Mobile phones has been released. Mods, maybe you just fix the thread heading to be a bit clearer. Thank you.

Ok so i've been running it for the last coupla days..
It looks good, but it's hell on your phone's battery. You can almost see the charge dropping

So far it's stable. i haven't had a problem with it crashing. No problems cept the battery draining so fast

3.5 is built on 2.0 . so you should be safe there

Nice, I had been waiting for the WM version for a long time, Java version is no good.

This WM version is broken.
When i log on .. everyone else see's me come online for about a second and then im gone. but according to my phone im still online... i try send messages and it doesnt work and i also cant receive messages... i only get the message back when i log on again.
Also when i send a message there is a huge delay... i dunno whats wrong.
Ive tried both HTTP and Socket.
