The number of monthly active users on mobile social network Mxit has fallen drastically since 2014.

No it wasn't, there just wasn't much competition so we had to make do with what was available.

yep, i can never remember having a stable app. always full of bugs and crashes.

Mxit could have evolved but their dev team was piss poor.

Used it for probably a year or 2. About 2006-2007. Now I don't see the point, except if you go into those groups(I never did) to get some nookie.

Was on mxit when it started up. Was great to chat with friends without having to worry about sky-high cellphone bills.

Migrated eventually over to gtalk, whatsapp and telegram.
