My 10mb ADSL line synch speed keeps dropping ...

so i have been living fine on a 10meg line

Generally my router stats on the down link looked like

SNR - 8-9db
ATTN - 35db
rate - 11500kbps

Since yesterday

SNR - 11.5db
ATTN - 35db
rate - 9200kbps

been like this the entire day no matter what settings i tried

then this morn

SNR - 15db
ATTN - 35db
rate - 7200kbps

and again no matter what i try it just keeps this synch. The synch does not drop, SNR is stable. Why have i been "downgraded" when my line stats seem perfectly fine

i is not very happy atm ...
 
what does speedtest says about dl speed?
 
It's bad... Like 5mbps... Fault was logged and I've gotten a sms reply to say its fixed. When I get home will verify if it had been fixed
 
Yeah just remote tested this line and it's still synching at 7mpbs... But this time my snr has dropped from 15 db to like 9db. The attn has dropped from 35db to like 20db

So relogged a fault

Thanks for the offer. It has been sorted. The issue was my profile showing incorrectly on one system and then correctly on another. But all good now. So assia was not turned on apparently

I have been struggling with this for ages, my max attainable rain is 10mb i am on a 10mb but my current rate is 7mb and no matter how many times i have asked them to reset service and or/ports it doesnt fix it.

What exactly did you say to them it get it fixed and check your profile ?

Hopefully this can sort my issue out as well?
 
Ive always been synching at 11mbs ... Recently it dropped to 9mbps and then 7mbps. My maximum attainable speed according to my router is 14mbps ... But because of my snr of 35db anything more than the current 11mbps I have is not attainable ...

So lots of factors of why not ... In my case they knew I had 11mbps before with no issue and this was a fault which they fixed ... All I told them was I synched at 11mbps and now I'm on 7mbps. My line stats are good for 11mbps and no reason for me to be at 7mbps. They checked profiles and fixed it

Exactly same as yours, i have previously had 10mb with no problems just lately it is all over the show however my stats are :-

Line Coding(Trellis): On On
SNR Margin (dB): 78 36
Attenuation (dB): 425 246
Output Power (dBm): 0 127
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 13036 1116
Rate (Kbps): 7167 764
D (interleaver depth): 96 1
Delay (msec): 7.14 1.13
 
Literally just refreshed the paged and check my SNR margin change:-

SNR Margin (dB): 149 153

Something funky
 
And best off all net is dropping every 1 minute -_-, gaming is impossible
