My 135i

As the 135i drives past, Jeremy Clarkson's 'Cock-o-meter' goes off the scale :D

haha :D ... yeah it applies to the 135i as well, as all M3 drivers would not mind a 135i (and i had a M3, a few in fact :))

but im more a cap an t-shirt type of guy :) ...

im 6 foot and my head kept rubbing the roof, it had a sunroof tho so maybe it was a bit more padded, seat was as low as could go

The engine is fantastic, make no mistake.

But i feel about the 1 series like I feel about a Golf R32: The engine is a gem, but you just look at the guy who bought it and think he is clearly a moron for dropping so much cash on it, but still ending up in a golf or 1 series.

Ill look like a cock, if my car just gave those 2 a hiding.. :)

Speak for yourself... The R32 is a beaut and so is the 135i.

thank Killove :D ... silver with s/r and pdc ... manual ... the pic is on the first page, improving my photography skills ... :)

yes saw the bmw performance mods and when i had the M3 thought about that steering wheel. You can get it ... at a ridiculous price ... R30 000, i might be wrong but i remember something insane like that...

Yeah when I heard it was like 25k.. absolutely ridic, but so amazing :(

also have pdc and the sunroof, never had one before so i'm loving it! tilt function ftw!

I didn't get the mpack though, not even sure what it's for? I've just heard trimming and suspension, but what suspension difs are there?

And also, in a manual, is there a sport button? in auto you just click to the left..

let me know what mods you plan on doing! i'll try upload some pics of my baby today

You have DCT on your 135? I thought DCT was only available on the M3 and 335i? DCT is different to the auto box...

DCT is availabe on the 135i. But ive got a M3 DCT. (got a bit confused, and thought we all had the cock car ;-) )

The DCT on the 135 and 335, dont have launch control though ;-(

The price diff is scary, 41k for the dct on the M3, and about 21k on the 335.
But launch control is very cool.

no i dont think DCT is on the 135i, seems only the 335i's ...

julians try this on your car, the user manual does not mention it:

see with launch control on the M3 there is a cool down period, but when i had mines i found this much better than LC ...

step1. Take off DSC
step2. Put power button on
step3. make sure the box is in setting 6 (if DSC is on you can only take the box to level 5, but you know this :D)
step4. floor the car ...

it will build revs to 4000rpm and then dump the clutch ... the first time i tried it i thought something was wrong, like why was the car not moving ... i got 4.7s on a gps unit to 100km/h ... no launch control just this method ...

You can do his even with the DSC on in any gear. Ie just floor it off the line, the revs climb to 4000 odd, and then pulls off..

... it makes no sense what so ever as DSC is meant to prevent the wheels from losing it ... LOL

i floored the car plenty of times in first and it would not do this with DSC on, there has been to my recollection only one revision of that gearbox, unless a new revision has cmoe out that does this, but still its does not make sense at all that you launch a car with traction control on ... (traction control is trying to prevent your wheels from going all crazy)

do you have the M-Drive? ... maybe that allows this, have to see it to believe it ...
