I have two ADSL lines coming into my property, one has a horribly slow uncapped jobbie with SAOL and the other is Do2 with Telkom.

So I was surfing early this morning and suddenly my Do2 stopped working and wouldn't open webpages, then i switched over to the uncapped line and that was also not working. The lines sync, but it seems they wont authenticate...

Anyone else having this issue?

have you tried restarting your router?

 What is the next line on your Telkom script?

Anyway, there are 2 routers...

A old Telkom Marconi which I resetted and reconfigured on the Do2 line, and then a Cisco ADSL modem + Planet router controlled by SAOL.

Do you have line secure on any of your accounts?
Telkom have been fiddling with ADSL port numbers of late.

Do you live in pretoria east? Apparently a lot of people in pta east stopped authenticating between 7am & 8am, myself included. Just logged on now with my phone.
Phoned webafrica and they told me that they haven't had anything official from telscum but have been receiving a lot of calls from people with numbers starting with 998 and 9** who suddenly can't authenticate.

Yes, I'm in the 993 and 998 area. Thank you. At least I now know its a Telkom problem. Hopefully it will be fixed when i get home...
