At random times it restarts itself and I always have to put in my details. Anyway to fix this?

try Resetting it(the router), then put in U/N and P/W make sure you click on "SAVE CONFIG" afterward.

I have found that after a few years billion routers get wobbly, ours also just restarts and resyncs for no reason.

apparently if you build it a cooling system it will stop doing it, see the other ridiculous posts somewhere on this forum

Get a small bar fridge.

Carefully drill holes for the cables etc. (Best on the floor of the fridge where there isn't any coolant piping). Route cables, fill up & seal.

Put router inside + some beers and cooldrinks.

Profit! :D

Guessing Billion is a terrible router? My dad got it I think it's cause it was cheap.

Using a Telkom 5102g router (repackaged billion) at home.

It still works, except that iOS6.x does funny things to it, and all my devices lose connectivity. If I disable wifi on the iPad, all is 100%.

Looking at the option to purchase a new wifi AP next year.

Its time to get yourself a new router. that one is past its sell by date...
