So I read the thread on here where 8ta messed up billing details. I was curios to know if they had done the same to my information. My guess was spot-on, they messed up on my branch code. Everything else was fine though. I got it fixed today, I will be debited on the 30th of this month. Do you think it will go off? or will it be rejected?

This is really bugging me, because I don't want any problems to happen. Any help or something..? This is worrying!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

There is univeral branch codes for all the banks now, I know Nedbank does have a problem with universal branch codes however.

If this change was made before their debit order run (2-3 prior) all will be fine.

I'm with FNB, any idea?

I would recommend going to a Telkom Direct store to sort this out. Sooner rather than later. Make sure to walk away with a reference number.

You can argue this is Telkom's fault but it won't solve your problem.

Thanks! I just checked that they used the Universal code for FNB. I did change it to my branch code though, no issue with that right?

Just got it changed though, although I found out that they used the Universal code for FNB instead of my own branch code. Thanks for the info though :D problem quickly resolved hehe ^^

Unfortunately this is the incumbent, add a result it's not always fine...

Good to know FNB are using universal codes too.

Well the scripts were run to the banks on the 20th of this month. So I am guessing they will still use the Universal code instead of the one I changed it to, today.

They also have their own staff... and hardware platforms.

I'm gonna go with hiring policies for R100. I only say this because I've experienced it first hand.

EDIT: add to that that hold times of 20-30 mins are not acceptable!
