My car got keyed :(

Absolutely nothing worse than getting to your car and discovering that some piece of sh#* has damaged it.

I had the same in Feb, someone scratched my car in the parking at work and drove away.

I got it all sorted for R5400, it a deep dent and quite a few deep scratches from the front driver door and a bit of the rear passenger door.

I find it interesting you mention car guards.Can you elaborate whether you had an incident with a car guard at this place?

Haven't had an incident, I just never have cash on me, and hence cannot pay them - mostly at the Virgin Active I go to. So was just wondering if a car guard got annoyed with me never paying them because I'm there pretty often

Come to think of it, it was either that, or, I park in Sandton city (when I drive to work). I may have parked in someone's parking, because I noticed today that above a certain amount of parkings, there are those sensors that show if the parking is open or not (red or green). The parkings are unmarked though, so I assumed I could park there..

Maybe they've got some cameras in Sandton city where I parked

Could be karma.. you drive centurion to sandton which give you the most road incidents (driven that route a while back).

How much of an entitled driver are you? Any incident happen in the last month or two? Chances are if you are very bad, you won't recall as it's just another day.

I suspect there is a greater chance of someone taking revenge than car guard as I very rarely pay car guards (I reverse park in one go so no chance for them to help) and have never had an incidence or them getting annoyed. Guess they don't expect much of u reverse park before they get to you.

It could also be an ex.. so much possibilities but most karma related.
