My office is really cold this morning, so i checked what temp my Q6600 was running at. It is at 13 degrees as i am typing, and so is my fingers.

Yup my q9550 was at 17 this morning overclocked from 2.8ghz to 3.7 :p, my box which in summer is normally about 40 degrees when i left for rustenburg this morning it was 15 :p

Got to love winter for overclocking.

amazing how much ambient temps affect CPU / and overall PC temps!!! Maybe we should just chill our PC rooms with a nice aircon than waste money on Water Cooling setups !!!

No ways lower temps make water cooling insane.

Aircon i will invest in for my office to keep the water temp down so it can do it's job.

Believe me low air temp and normal cpu fan will help but not nearly as much as cold water flowing through a waterblock on top of a cpu.

If i had a better mobo i could easily this time of year hit the 4.2ghz mark with my cpu, stupid p35 chipset rubbish :p

i agree! My cpu at 3.7GHz under load peaks at 48 degrees, stupid p35 mobo won't let me POST with anything over 425 fsb. Grrrrr!

And whats up with the voltage increments (or is it just me), from 1.6v the only other options are 1.8v and 2v
