One of my friends has one like that in OP's post, in white, with a GT30 turbo upgrade. It's a beast.

If you look carefully at the reflection in the windscreen.. you can see the missing car mats :)

Well spotted, wow you have good eyesight ;)

Subaru fitted carpets cost me R1500 (interior and boot irc). Boot liner + R 1200

Fave one is still the 22B type shape - the four door will do me just fine.

Wanted one since highschool. Just wish I could find a low timer, in WRB to buy. Have my eye on the 2011/12 sedan though.

That would be the GC series. In SA we called it the GT. 4 door would be the 99 or 2000 model. The 22b was a 98 model special edition

I like the look of the 2 door GT. You can make it look very muscular. The special editions are the only car, that looks good in green. I know, it boggles the mind, until you see them. There are VERY few good examples around. And they command a premium price.

Unfortunately the 22bs' performance is substantially less than the new cars. And most in SA have been destroyed by poor done modding.

I would own a 2 door model GC, if a sales person named Susie had kept her appointment with me.

Ah, thanks! Actually a decent looking one that used to park in my complex, has since disappeared (4 door GC).
There was a P1 version sold in the UK as well, very cool.

Yup P1 was awesome

Prodrive took a JDM STi 6 and made it better for the UK setup.

One of the best GC models. Wickedly fast to boot.

Unfortunately Prodrive no longer supply upgrade kits for road going Subarus!

I like the first one that looked like a Toyota
