My first LCD

So I'm getting my first LCD, but have no idea which one?

Two different websites gives me 2 different stats about the Samsung 17'' 733N and 733NW.

Can someone please tell me which one is better.

Samsung 733N 10000:1 contrast ratio

Samsung 733NW 15000:1 contrast ratio

1.4k for a 17" seems rather expensive hey.

It's actually for my sister and she just needs one, because her space is limited where she uses her current CRT.

Yea rather look at 19" or 20", if space is an issue 17" will be fine though.

If you are going in the LCD field, get the tried and tested Samsung..
Once you made your mind up about getting a Samsung get a widescreen 19" or bigger

I think I'll go for the 19" Samsung Wide screen, but they are out of stock at the moment.

What everyone said - DONT waste your money on a 17inch, unless you going to play shop shop with it, because all they are good for is sitting on the top of a till.

19 at least. 22 if you can come up with R600 more.

Where besides the Durban only shops? Even PCInt only has it at just over R2200 like all the other online shops I've seen.

17" standard format isn't too bad.

19" wide will be the same height as the 17" standard format, but wider - good choice going for it.
