My Generator Study

Ah the water pump will do it.
I've got a smaller 200w pump I use for transferring water between tanks that I'm thinking of outfitting with a pressure switch so I can press it into service just to fill the cisterns during load shedding.

Might be an option during shedding

I've got the slightly bigger RG2600i and it can handle my LG fridge freezer with ease. I measured the power requirement for my fridge and it was below 300w iirc.

Have to warn you though - rated at < 96dB(A) it's a noisy bugger.
Does the RG2600i have an eco-throttle where is manages the engine rpm?

Also how is the fuel economy on it?

I can't say for sure but I suspect not - it runs at a pretty constant speed. Be advised it's pretty noisy, not an issue for me but it may be for you.

I'd say it runs at about 1l per hour give or take.
