What speed is that? looks like 20mb

I did not notice speed difference due to me being on 4mp uncapped
 
Are you in durban north umhlanga area ??

Looks like 20Mbps down. Try getting a prepaid account, topping it up with 1GB, and seeing how long it takes to blow through it :-)

But speedtest it first!
 
Im in Westville north.

I just bought 1gb acc. downloads spike to 1.3mb for 20 secs and then slowly drop to 500kbs.


Do I need a port reset?

I have tried all types of protocols to download on and still does the same thing.

Understand now that after this you can never, ever, EVER go back, ever. Not 4mb, not 10mb, not 15mb. You are now part of the elite. You are in the Telkom trial run for their 20mb-40mb service and are a member of the lucky few. Very little can hope to achieve such speeds in the near future. Thank god for his providence, because it sure was an act of his that you were selected.

You need to switch to capped data that can run at such speeds - if you are on uncapped you won't be able to use the full speed.

Give it a speedtest so we can see some real world stats :twisted:

EDIT: are you sure this isnt the max attainable rate?

I think you neglected to read a few posts, he already bought a capped account and did a speed test.
