Los Angeles - P. Diddy spent £500 000 ($784 000) making an audition tape for the next James Bond movie.

The music mogul - who previously admitted he would like to be the first black 007 - flew from New York to the South of France to shoot the footage, which shows him wearing a tuxedo as he is joined in a helicopter by two scantily-clad women.

In the video, which he posted on video sharing website YouTube, P. Diddy says: "I would like to also announce that this is my audition tape for the next James Bond. I feel like I am best suited to be the next James Bond.

"I've been out there getting my hustle on in Hollywood - I just landed a role on CSI: Miami. We have a black president and it's time for there to be a black Bond."

"He has already sent the audition tape to Bond executives," a source said.

Interesting factoid. The guy who played People's in Shaft( the remake) played Felix the CIA agent "brother" in Casino Royal.

So first M went from old white dude to aged white female, Felix went from white CIA agent to black "brother" and now P. Diddy( whatever the hell the moron calls himself now) is lining up to be the next Bond. Soon there will be no white guys left lol :D

You can't have black bond, or a blonde bond, or an american bond.. If he is any of those, then I guess he is some other secret agent. Im not a big fan of changing bonds image. It has not worked well at all thus far. And stripping him of his manhood in the last one was also a huge mistake IMO.

Bond is extemely intelligent, extremely classy, EXTREMELY BRITISH, dry white sense of humour, old school, fearless in a non hollywood way, and he doesn't talk like he is from the bronx. I can't think of anyone who is less suited. Except maybe oprah.

Even if you were going to make bond black, you would still choose a black guy that acts like a white guy lol
