Looks like Volvo juice, common issue. For fix replace car with a different brand

On a serious note, could be some kind of lubricant or oil as well (not engine oil). Is is a Volvo with hydraulics, eg convertible? Otherwise antifreeze.

Could be anti-freeze but that shouldn't be oily.

My guess is hydraulic fluid. What did it smell like?
 
If that much coolant escaped, the car would be having issues. Also, it would escape in the form of steam, not a puddle just after driving.
 
Dolby, do let us know the verdict once you've been back to the dealer. My money's on hydraulic fluid from the power steering; probably a loose clamp.
 
Had another look. 99% sure its hydraulic fluid. Weird thing is that it has turned green already. Normally, when new its yellowish before turning green with age.
 
On the initial look and the same photo, the technical guy said power steering fluid ...

I'll know for sure a little later though.

You ask him why it has turned green with only 11 000km on the clock?

I sincerely doubt that'd be the case on such a new car, unless Dolby got a very good deal from some oke operating out of a dark alley in Hillbrow.
 
OEM volvo power steering fluid is, in fact, green.

The one Materia we looked at from a Kia Dealership was 20,000km, 2010 - and had been in an accident, although they denied it, but AA test confirmed it.

Sure, it happens - I remember your Daihatsu-escapade! But it's also not good for one's health to assume every second-hand car on the market is a rebuild. Paranoia's a terrible thing to live with, especially once you realise that they are, in fact, after you. ;)
 
Yeh - its why always insist on a AA/Dekra test, don't care how low the milleage is.
