My new i7 machine..... any recommendations

P4's i see the 9950 and the new phenoms are only 10-15% faster so you will still see amd owned in that benchmark because intel is better for applications by a mile.

I'm still not finalized on this system. I've been given a choice by the supplier. The Zotac GTX 275 Standard edition or the Zotac GTX 275 AMP! edition (for very little more). While reviews suggest it is a good buy, I have noticed that the MSi Version: MSI GTX275 Overclocked Edition, is also within the price bracket. Which do I take?

Revit uses the CPU and RAM more than anything else. Card does not really matter. Check the AUGI forums....... BTW did you see the prices of the Quadro cards. It aint worth it.
