I can't believe that killadoob is still under the impression that I am a spy from another ISP LMAO .....

No!! I am not!!

All I want is what's right, nothing else.

Although I have received new settings from Mr. Keoma, not Mrs / Miss Keoma, :) I have not tried them, too busy with my company (not ISP btw).

Will let my fellow "forumites" know if all is ok later on today.

So!!!!!!!!!! Keep a close look at this space :)

Glad MrBeep rocks some dude's world :D

Who made you moderator here? to tell me to go and sort my problem on another forum?

I expressed my opinion, based on facts, about an ISP, if I offended you, deal with it.

I am connected finally on the local account so, if coming here helps to improve service in South Africa, guess what .. I'll be here for many years to come. :) .. so get used to me :) ... if you're not happy about me being here? to bad!!!! :)

Glad to hear it - but hopefully without the antagonistic attitude as that becomes the defining characteristic of the thread thereby obfuscating the actual problem that brought you here. :)

To me it seemed fairly clear it stemmed from a misunderstanding regarding payment and the proof of . . http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?p=1626530#post1626530 - his actual second post in response to LancelotSA had to be removed along with five others. ;)

I mentioned it on another thread, and I do understand the moderators reasons for removing a post, but I still wish they could be left on so people who come into an thread late can see the initial reaction of the person that led to our feelings towards them...

As mentioned he managed to insult three people with his first five posts on this forum.

The removal of Luis' insulting posts make him come off looking like an innocent party.

@lexor yes I do owe an apology to the majority because I generalized and it was not right to do so. This apology however, does not apply to a few that decided to attack me because I was stating a fact about their ISP (I presume).

To me, service is very critical and when I pay for smething and that something fails to materialize I react in the strongest way possible.

I gave OpenWeb a chance to rectify the problem before posting, in fact I gave OpenWeb 3 chances and they ignored me.

OpenWeb is my current local ISP and will be for a long time but, if I come across problems like the one I did, trust me I will post about it and if I offend anyone in the process its just too bad.

My intention from the start was to make people aware of a fact and to maybe prevent it from happening in future.

I want service and not promises.

no need for someone to come onto a forum and treat the ppl who live here like crap and offend them

also beta you may not follow these forums but this is not first person to come in here and run down openweb in a crazy totally wrong way

now even though i dont use openweb i use to and they where a good company who sort issues out really fast

his first post was not nice at all and then proceeded to tell us we are idiots

but its all good i still love u man even though i dont know what i did wrong to offend you hahahaha

you know when the attacks started luis

u cannot come on the forum tell everyone they are stupid and then expect a warm reception lol

The attitude was caused by people taking their ISP to heart.

My intention was not to defame anyone but to get the support from OpenWeb that I deserved when I called OpenWeb's technical support.

This post could have been avoided by OpenWeb themselves.

Let this be a lesson to service providers, when someone calls Techincal Support they must act immediately, after all we are paying for the service to be provided.

I did not come here to have people on my side or against me.

I didn't come here looking for friends in other words, I sated a fact and got results.

If you didn't like the fact that it involved OpenWeb its too bad.

My issue was with OpenWeb, they aknowledged that there was a problem and rectified it, unfortunately for them, a few hours too late.

Yeah I am... one that earns in a month what you make in a year... so that makes me a very happy little boy. I would have prefer'd to say something else was way bigger... but this is a PG forum, most of the time anyway.
