My PC keeps Downloading stuff....?

Why is everyone forgetting about the built in resource monitor present since Win Vista? No installation... it tells you any EXE and IP that is using your data in real time.

Install a linux distro, you will never ever have this schite again :D

try using your task manager to see the top talkers, but click on "Show processes from all users".. worked for me

Torrents are queued by scheduler to start after midnight and stop at 6am as then I get free data... So no, unless the ads in utorrent uses that much, ot cant be them...
I have noticed it 3 days ago... I have a 20gb cap, and by the time I started up the pc at about 11am, the usage was still on like 3% of my cap... At about 6pm the afternoon my usage was at almost 30%... And all I done was play Crysis 2.... Nothing else... And steam is disabled abyway?

If you selected Force Start on any torrents, it will override the scheduler and download/upload those all the time that the torrent application is open.

Also, if you have set the scheduler to Upload Only, this will also use your bandwidth, as uploads also consume data.

And yes, The Network tab on Resource Monitor is the easiest way to see what exactly is using your bandwidth on a specific PC.
