I.E until I discovered Firefox tags when you browse, password keeper, web forms, tabbed browsing etc.. After months of getting web pages loading and only be able to get the links without any images, searching for a solutions. Then weeks of proxy settings getting jumbled, surfing forums and help files with no avail it gave me a great feeling of satisfaction un-installing the thing.

Over to Opera as I have it on my Android and it syncs the bookmarks and history with Android . Then days of sukkeling trying to get the proxy to work and realising it is a common problem people are irate about.

This morning over to Google Chrome and what a relief. No time to import bookmarks, saved pages, passwords etc. from Firefox. Seamlessly syncing with my Android, what a relief!!!

It would seem to me that the more popular a browser gets the less attention it gets to worldwide problems. If Firefox and Opera thinks everyone if browser loyal they are in for a surprise!

Thank you for letting me vent!

:erm: apart from the rant, there's a point to this thread?

I prefer Firefox cause I like it, I don't care that it may or may not be the fastest in the browser world, it does the job for me.

Been using Chrome since the day it got released - nothing else comes even remotely close. Enough said.

To the OP, look in the Chrome market for "Proxyswitchy", simply brilliant.

I always used Firefox until it gave me issues and started being so slow.

I switched over to Chrome & I am very very happy with it.

Also old firefox user .
Using Safari , chrome and opera at the moment.

I used Chrome as my primary browser. Its the best.

I have no brand loyalty to browsers. Used most of them. I love trying them all out. From Netscape Navigator days to IE, to FF and now to Chrome. Chrome is the best for what I need them for (have to manage many web applications / multimedia) at the moment.
