My PSP is old, it's a PSP1000. The problem is that it's power switch button broke off and now I can't turn it on. A friend of mine said he could fix it but when I got it back from him the @#%* thing now won't even charge.

Please tell me that the man did not #@%$ it up even further. Is there anyone that can fix it?

This happened about 4 months ago but haven't been able to get round to fixing it. It has not been flashed and the firmware was updated to firmware 5.0. I want to start playing my games again so please let it be repairable.:( Is there anyone that can help.

I don't know, becouse the battery is flat and I can't switch it on becouse the power switch broke off. I won't trust friends ever again. The fool said he could fix it but I think he made it even worse. I hope it isn't but if it is does that make it irrepairable.

please say that it can be fixed.:(
