Be great if it would just initialise(supposed to be a 4TB)

I'd hate to run chkdsk on that... :p

Try Win 95 style scandisk.and when its full defrag...

I have a 4TB WD RED and it doesn't show correctly on my motherboard.in new enclosure it works fine. MOBO doesn't support 4TB drives.

They used to be the best.Still above many retailers but have been sliding slightly after the takeoverr and merger.

I'm happy,it's nice to come across organised service.Had to do this once before with a SSD via Nivo which was also ok service but i had to send in the drive & i guess they checked it before shipping out a new one.
This drop one off when they pick up the faulty one wins for me

ja better just return it...that doesn't look like any of the classic new drive issues so I'd personally rather not deal with it

Yep,WD said the same thing too.
Was visable in BIOS but not in Comp Manager.Seemed it didn't want to install the right driver & then the 1 time it did it thru this back.
