My story ...

Games coming out in the next year that I'm looking forward to:

PS3: God of War III; Gran Turismo 5. Total: 2
360: Nothing. Total: 0
Wii: Super Mario Bros. Wii; Mario Galaxy 2. Total: 2
PC: Diablo III; Starcraft II. Total: 2
Multi Platform: Prototype; Dragon Age; Alan Wake; Assasin's Creed II; Mass Effect II; Curse of Monkey Island Special Edition. Total: 6

Nothing on the 360! Who wants to buy my 360? :)
Keep the 360 for the multiplats. They're always better on the 360 ;)

I know GoWIII is out in March 2010, but has GT5 got a release date yet?

God of War III...maybe

anyway

360: Magna Carta II, Ninety-Nine Nights II, Alan Wake & Mass Effect 2 (don't have/need a fancy PC), Crackdown 2 and a plethora of multiplatform games.

I'm sorted nevermind 2009 :)

Agreed (although I'd rather have Street Fighter IV on the PS3. The 360 DPad is the worse thing since AIDS).

But:

My point was that I don't NEED an XBox 360 for at least the next year.

Funny how that supposed quality never translates into prolonged sales doesn't it?

Sure, you'll see a little spike in sales for a while, but nothing constant despite PS3 fanboys proclaiming that it is well known that the quality of the last year (and future) of PS3 games far outstrips the 360's, yet the figures don't reflect that. This means one of two things:
1) This trend is imagined.
2) Console gaming consumers don't know about it.

Quality = personal opinion
Quantity = reality of the situation

:D
