In the Namibian desert...
Close on three years she was, I guess the Namibian West Coast Most just was too much for her...

33 meals cremated, fondly in her metallic belly..... She left us this fine Namibian afternoon, as her Jake the peg third ledt corroded away from her heavy bossom.....



WHAT A PISS OF SHIRT ! Three years and her leg erodes off.".,?

Feck this! Take this metallic pot and skop skit her or die rivier.....

I just buy the R299 of whatever Checkers cheapies. Can buy 5 of them for the cost of one Weber... Current one still going strong after 4 years.
 
How did you manage to break a Weber in three years? :wtf:
 
Sheesh, I have had mine for nearly 10 years now and still going strong. Only had to replace the grills and the charcoal gril

I had my last one for about 10 years, and only replaced it when I got a fancy one with an ash catcher, on a decent special offer.

But Morty's Weber has suffered more than any braai should ever have to and has deserved an early retirement :P

I think I found the problem ..... see that there Windhoek bottle in the picture ...... well I think the braai was dopping and as a result its legless.
 
Could it be that you made fire with wood in it? And not as recommended, with charcoal? Just curious?

Not true sir.

I own a webber webber as well as two different Chinese clones.

The difference is blinding
 
My clone has all his legs after 13 years and no grids were replaced yet. For R 200 this is good enough. Just treat it well and don’t leave outside in rain and bad weather and it will last. The handles may look a bit shoddy but they do the job and the gird is even height adjustable.

Imo the Weber Compact is cheaply made. I got mine in Melkbosstrand and several parts rusted instantly. Traded it in on a Cadac on special with better features and cheaper.
