SMS the text MM to 31050, or dial the *111# USSD command menu - there is an option there for Data Bundle Balances.

I am able to use vodacom4me for data bundle balance, and I'm on a prepaid SIM. (You have to register of course. Then click 'my account' on the menu bar > 'data bundles'.)

But I normally use *111# - 1 - 7.

Unfortunately I'm not using a bundle, since I don't use 500Mb on my phone per month. I did find the balances section on vodacom4me, but for prepaid you only get a list of the last 10 transactions - so it's difficult to really tell what's going on, usage wise.

I guess I can just check really frequently, for a while, to monitor it, but that seems a bit painful. A summary of data usage per day would be useful

Not unless one is happy with being charged R10 for more than 10 pieces of information on one's own pre-paid usage, check out the screenshot...

This is why I have refused to use that function on v4me - it's a ripoff.
