Ok, so i'm not on the interent all the time, but these are just some of the times i have not been able to surf, but only connect.


July
12th daytime (didnt capture time/s)
12th evening time (didnt capture time/s)
16th 6.30pm - 8pm
17th evening time (didnt capture times/s)
19th 9pm - 10pm
20th around 10pm
22nd lunch time
26th 12.50pm - for awhile.

Aug
6th 10am - 11am approx.
6th 12am-1.30pm approx. (this was a different problem - it wouldnt connect at all) - Virign acknowlede this prob.

I have had a cellc dude come check out my prob. So what i'm doing is sending him my modem log when downtime has kicked in, so maybe something can come of it.
 
Perhaps you guys can also add your downtime log here. Just edit your first post so that everyones log stays on the first page, and just continually edit it with all downtimes.

Wish I logged all my downtimes. It's very bad nowadays. In the beginning I always praised vm for their service, even on hellopeter, but now, now I am very ashamed to tell anyone that I'm on vm. It gets really frustrating. I mean, I only use internet during say from 6pm till 9pm most of the times, and almost every night theres a problem. Everything going fine, and all of a sudden, there's nothing. It's just dead. Tonight it's fine again, thats telling me there's not a problem on my side, so it wont help them to come and do a site investigation, the problem is on their side. Come on vm, do something!
 
My internet been fine since my last posted date above (26th)

Anyway, just one other thing.

In the last 2 days i've got sms's from virgin @ 2 in the morning, and i got again at 11pm last night. The sms's are to do with wap setup, which i did 8 months ago or so. I havent asked anyone to resend me this, nor have a told my phone to do this.

Its just a little annonying at 2 in the morning, when you get these, also at 11 at night when you are nearly asleep, and those sms's wake you up.
 
Hi Boodles,

Apologies for the inconvinience caused. We did firmware upgrade on the our sims on the network, this has since been completed. What excactly does the msg say? Does it ask you to save it or its a notification. This will aslo assist our portal guys in determining the root cause of the problem.
Pls PM me your number so that i can have this stopped ASAP.
 
Yep, down this morning. I updated my downtime log.
