Hmm... sounds like a severe case of coincidence, d0b33. Cell C and VM are apparently working on their billing system due to several complaints.

lol, I'm sure it's coincidence, I'm just pointing out my observation

I don't think mine is free now anyways... although I have not really been keeping an eye on my balance

It wasn't free for everyone - for some people it just didn't bill accurately, either too low or too high. I've heard cases of R30 or more disappearing from VM customers' balances. I would certainly complain if that happened to me.

My billing came back a week ago ,i cried for hours!I still feel we pay too much.If Virgin really wants total domination they need that magic 20c per meg price.They are the 4th network and the market is mainly voda 65% mtn 25% cell c 7% and virgin 3%!Scary eh?Got that info 2 months ago.Virgin should go cost on megs or off-peak,that should cause havok!

Not if it was for 100MB of data. I think people got used to it being free, went mad, and then complained when they were charged for it.

They actually paid me day before yesterday to use over 30MB.

If you want the most for your buck then recharge with the smallest voucher - think it's R35 - and only recharge when your balance is R0 when not connected.
