the thing to see is 'An Evening with Kevin Smith' (director of Clerks, etc - and the 'Silent Bob' actor) - if you're into movies and Jay & Bob, Smith is awesome as a casual cheerfully disgusting speaker at Q&A sessions filmed at various universities..

[Random717]

finally got around to watching The Prestige! wow!!

I love it when films don't state the obvious, they focus on a point just long enough for you to figure out whats going on and then cut to another scene. Keeps me from getting bored...

Watching van Helsing at last - have been meaning to for ages. It is not really doing it for me so far...

*wince* That nearly sank Hugh Jackman's career. It was awful...

[hj2k_x]

Awful it was.

Jackass is a great movie with a wonderful, deep meaningful storyline with some of the most talented actors I have ever had the pleasure of watching. The sequel, aptly named Jackass 2, does not disappoint and this title is definitely deserving of an Oscar..............NOT! but its still pretty good for a laugh

Went to see 'The Good Sheperd' starring Matt Damon.

Don't know what to say really - watch it yourself and decide.

Kind of a good , interesting movie.

At least SABC3 paid for the movie tickets

How come they paid? Some pre-release special?

Good Shepherd was great on fast forward
Cant believe they made such a dull film about such an exciting subject..
Not something I'd recommend people spend money on.

Yep - sent an SMS with me name and nearest Cinema Nouveau to 33123.

Picked up the double ticket - including a free Coke & popcorn

Cool. I am one of those people that 'never wins anything' so i don't usually even bother entering such stuff.

I would watch almost anything if it is free and u get food stuff with it

I'm looking forward to Zodiac, it's made made the same guy that did SE7EN so it should be good. Check it out here : http://www.zodiacmovie.com/

I'm also looking forward to a sequel to one of my all time favourite movies The Boondock Saints.

[hj2k_x]

I have heard good hype so far about zodiac as well..

Rented 'Squid and the Whale' on DVD tonight.

Cool movie.

Watched Finding Neverland at last. Cute little movie that.

Bought the box set of "Invasion" , finished watching it last night, not a bad series, but it was canned at the end of of the first season, so like "John Doe", you are left with WTF?

[hj2k_x]

"The Hitchhiker".

B-grade snuff this was. Will appeal to those of you that like sick stuff like Hostel and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I thought it was awful

[venom]

Ja, invasion had potential, but started off way too slow...and that was the main reason for the cancellation.
