As you know MyADSL is becoming increasingly involved in all issues related to broadband provisioning and the Internet in South Africa, Internet technologies. I often receive invitations to events which I am unable to attend or to comment on things that I know very little about.
We would like to build up a list of MyADSL members who can represent MyADSL in the various South African cities (Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, PE, Bloemfontein).
We would also like to create a list of members that are experts in Internet related fields so that when the media contacts me and would like comment from an expert in a certain field I can simply give them the related member’s details.
If you see you way clear to either act as a representative of MyADSL in a major city or would like to be added to the ‘media expert list’, please mail [email protected] with relevant details (name, contact number/s, location, whether you want to be a representative or ‘media expert’ etc.). There is no commitment, the invitations will simply be forwarded to you and if you want to attend it will be great. If not, also great.
