MyADSL Statistics

Hi guys

Here are some facts about MyADSL usage and general statistics for those interested.

The first very satisfying fact is that we are listed second on Google if you search for “Telkom ADSL”. Telkom itself only comes in seventh!! Keep up making links to MyADSL…this will push us to number one!

Here are some general statistics about August:

Total page view hits: 207, 636
Average time spent per session: 530 seconds

Browser statistics:

MSIE: 85%
Netscape: 9.5%
Opera: 2.5%

We receive visitors from around the world, including most American States and most European countries. I will post a more detailed analysis for next month if you guys are interested. I can tell you that we now receive hundreds of referrals from Google. This is due to mainly linking, and it will therefore be of value to post MyADSL links.

Our membership continues to grow at a steady rate, and as you suggest the ‘small amount of disgruntled users’ argument is no longer valid (not that it ever was). I will post a more comprehensive statistical analysis at the end of the month. Some interesting facts…and I just love statistics anyway. It is of the best empirical evidence around, and it is difficult to argue against such facts.

You should supply telkom with the stats and then ask them to prove their side(majority happy) or disprove that we are a minority.
