all I can say is after these last two downloads I am going to install BF3 on my work laptop so I can download the updates at work and then just copy them across when I get home, 5.9gb in less than 2 weeks is just not cricket i tell you...

I like it but Its not that interesting. We played a Squad DM on one of the new maps and that was fun. Glad you can use them for DM as well

That one tank superiority round on the snow map was one of the most boring things Ive seen in BF3 so far

I feel the same way. Its like they gave the maps a huge size increase at the expense of texture quality

Just reminds me of BC2 with better colour palette. Even then wind turbines don't look to good.

Yes the tank superiority map was very boring - I thought the team that capped the flag gets access to a gunship (which could have made it more fun). If not, i think this mode will die soon.

I liked the map with the green fields, nice combo of infantry and vehicles. The night map looks great

the one thing thats annoying when flying the jet - the gunship is so huge on your air radar, and makes it difficult to track another jet when you're in a dogfight.

otherwise i think, the jury is still out

gunship is like a sitting duck when you come up behind and blast it with rockets and gun fire. Took it out twice last night. Was like taking candy from a child.
