My next upgrade (only next year :( ):

Intel Core i5-3570K Quad-Core 3.4GHz LGA1155 Boxed Processor (Ivy Bridge)

MSI Z77A-G45 LGA1155 Dual-Channel DDR3 CrossFireX (Ivy Bridge)

KFA2 NVIDIA GeForce GTX670 2GB EX OC GDDR5 256-bit PCI-E x16

Samsung S27B550V 27" 2ms 1000:1 Widescreen LED Monitor

Sooo tempted to get it now, but if I do I'll have no spending money overseas in December :(

Aslo got to upgrade next year

Will sell my ivy rig and get the Haswell when it is launched. ( Depends if the $$$ in the bank.)

All looks good. I would stay aw from this
MSI Z77A-G45

Pretty good for a lawyer hey? :D Now watch a lawyer assemble it :P (last one took me 5 hours, damn CPU cooler :( )

What's wrong with the MSI Z77A-G45?

I actually just read that that Samsung monitor isn't good value for money, looking for a substitute now. Anyone else have a 27" and running 1920? Is it too pixelated?

I got the LG IPS234v Screen. Very nice. Only 23" though, but no ghosting, etc.

I try and stay away from msi, just personal choice. So many boards that i have returned faulty.

nothing wrong with the Asrock. The board i got gets great reviews. Looks like Asus boards are going to be a little harder to get in SA due to one supplier not doing them anymore.

I am also wanting to get a 27" monitor.

Looking at the new 27" IPS panels coming out soon. AOC, LG and DELL are bringing in some new models soonish. So if you are in no rush then a couple months will see some nice new IPS panels coming out

Yeah I got a 27" Sammy. Love it. Not pixelated at all

Good advise. Rather go Gigabyte or Asus but just stay far away from Asrock. Only noobs by that brand :p

Gigabyte has the highest failure rate of any boards I have seen at my company, wont touch them for anything. The MSI board is actually quite good but the asrock is just damn awesome. Asus are still really good boards but getting stupidly expensive.

I second that. My Z77 Extreme4 is the first Asrock( best bang for buck boards) i have owned, coming from Asus as they are becoming overpriced. Really great board.

Yeah im looking at the Z77 extreme6 atm, need something to go with the 3770k Im getting.

Hmmm I take offence to that. I've had no issues wit my'ne :D

HAHA just trying to cause trouble with the Asrock noob here. Turns out we have a few :D

Nah Asrock is a good brand. Very good value for money and handy features. MSI on the other hand has been having issues with their boards and I would stay away from them.

Looking at this monitor: LINK
