Damn, no gameplay for me this weekend. F.ing Financial Year End Stock take. Means i work proberbly to 10pm tomorrow and 6 on Sunday. When do i get a weekend to myself.
 
That is not cool Kyton. My adsl line is back up and running so I should be around but have to rebuild a pc tonight so might only be on later

A guy i know is selling a Sapphire 6950 2gb card for R2400. 6mnth warranty left.

Got the 2400. They didnt have the 2500 Sandybridge in stock.

Hmmm, that GPU sounds tempting, i paid 2400 for my 6870 4 months ago.

Whats the big diff between the 6950 and the 6870?

the 6950 is already gone:cry:. I was thinking of swapping my GTX560TI @GB for it. Most 6950 cards can be reflashed as 6970 cards as the shaders are on soft locked and not laser locked.

I have the 2500k, went from the i5-750 to the 2500k. love it.
 
I have my gigabyte z77 motherboard waiting patiently here in my cupboard for an Ivy Bridge 3570K. Should be releasing world wide on Monday and then a weak or so till it gets here :D

Also going to put in 4 x 4gb RAM in the bad boy.

I have a 6950 flashed to a 6970 and the difference between that and the 6870 is pretty big on average 20fps more in most games. If you can get one for cheap then go for it.

Tim, are you looking for a new 120gb SSD? Have a look at Esquire, dirt cheap
 
HAHA those are the worst. You know they're very important but they dont improve the speed/frame rates

I now buy the most expensive one I can and it will last ages. Corsair FTW

Dont know about that one. Have very bad experiance with thermaltacky. Their quality has gotten so bad lately.

If you have any worries or notice anything then yank that psu out or it will take out everything with it:(
