I finally finished downloading Shogun 2(steam specials:twisted and all its DLC last night. Close to 30gb

I will never moan about a BF3 update again

now just to download the other 8 games I bought. Grief

Yoh, i haven't had steam on my rig for over a year. Took it off when it removed all my COD games.

Personal pref to remove COD & steam. COD is just to full on Noobs. & whinning Babies.

I've got the Vertex 4 128GB and very happy with it. Upgrade firmware to 1.5, there is quite a performance increase.

Explain that to me pl0x..
The agility 3 has a read of 525mb/s and a write of 500mb/s
The vertex 4 has a 535mb/s read and a 200mb/s write
The iops are very similar but dont actually make much difference unless you are using something that has massive amounts of random reads (like a database)
Im interested to see where you get nearly triple the speed out of that, unless of course im a little slow.

I got that firmware ready and waiting. There is an update for the agility but it just doesn't handle compressed files that well. A great starter drive but Im feeling the need for speed

The agility 3 numbers are bs and only work on compressed data. The new 1.5 firmware update to the vertex 4 gives it a massive speed boost to writes as well

My agility 3 gets an AS-SSD score of 370ish and the Vertex will get around 1000

So now you will be able to spawn after loading, run to the enemy camp across caspian border and kill everyone as they just spawn with there sata /IDE drives .
