Strange as mine has the check for updates option. When last did you play it?. Maybe close origin properly(if you close it it just minimizes) and then open it again and give it a try

Mine started to update as well. Phoned the SO and she just logged into origin and it started to update.

They should have just included AK with this and made it a 5gb download. Might as well get it over with now as chances are on the 11th my download will not be finished by the time I get home so no AK for me

they fixed 2 exploits on Donya Fortress. So i geuss the outside building on metro that is a "so called exploit" is still legit.
