MyBB BF3 Clan

I just seem to battle with the mouse and keyboard, i can fly but the moment I need to try shoot something I get myself in a knot and crash...
 
My strategy is to use heat seekers. Try get a nice long line up. Wait for the lock and only fire when close to the target and keep flying at him and try gun him down with the cannon and then a good ol ram. Worked great last night esp on the helicopters

valid strategy - but ultimately you have to bite the bullet :D and learn to use the main gun. I dont think I have any kills with the heat seeker. Also the heatseeker takes up space, meaning you dont really have any attacking options for ground units. And with the new update - the bombs take out infantry a lot easier (so very effective against tanks + infantry now).

I'm actually not that good - I suck against the top guns - those who shall not be named :erm: - they are a really tight group and keep their secrets close - maybe one of us should infiltrate them

I think I know their biggest secret (which will surprise many of you)...but we should take this offline, and discuss on TS, lets try and keep some secrets also ;)
 
Drop me a pm if you can. Would like to investigate this so called secret ;) I think Im going to watch some youtube vids and get some strategy in place. I swear I cannot kill anything with rockets and doubt I have killed a single person on the ground in jets. Always ends up with me crashing

It's a good rule to have when doing flight school. When on Pubbies we can bail all we like but getting 20 vehicle destroys and disables and no kills like I got the other night was not fun.

i am going to hit the 64 player maps this weekend and have some tanking fun

guess it is more flying practice, suppose I shouldn't complain since my flying time for the whole game so far is like 40mins :D
 
Maybe we can have a round or 2 flying practise then hit a big public server and cause some chaos

12 minutes in a jet is classic. One of the first things I did when I got BF3 was jump in a jet and fly around. Then I started getting killed by a hax pilot and just gave up until now

So i wonder if the servers are going to be quiet tomorrow night with everyone still downloading the 3.2gb patch.

got a bit of my assignments done. don't think it will be finished before AK:( (Unless i call in sick:D)
