Guys about this whole mic story:
I got a R50 headset from Matrix Computers. Used it for over a year now for ts on Eve and other games, nothing wrong with it. Yes you can go expensive but a simple headset with a boom mic is easily available for under a R100.

Playing with the mic I'm not used to though, yesterday I played without and first few games I played better than I do than with a mic... and you guys were getting pwned. I think I get distracted...
