Anyone but me think some of the weapons seem weaker? Especially the Medic LMG's? I had two situations last night where I surprised a trio of enemies, sprayed close to 60 rounds and if I was lucky I killed 2/3 each time with the one time being a guy walking up to my gun and knifing me? :wtf:

That's a good thing though. The assault rifles and SMG's are feeling a lot more beefed up, but the medic guns a lot less. I'm so glad they fixed that shizz. I was getting really over those fark steaks OP medics since this game was turning into Battlefield Medic Company 2.
Kosmic I feel that. I think they are trying to get away from the problems with BF2 though. There you had everyone running around as medic due to the power of the rifles they carried and the points you got from revives.
The thing about bf2 was that the engi's had shotguns with low range or an SMG's that werent as strong as the assault rifles.
Use the spotter scope or 12x on the GOL, I hear the spotter has been improved quite a bit.
Trip Wires would be lekker.

But thats so unrealistic, the LMG is a heavy support weapon, there is no way that it should not be able to take down 3 enemies at a range of 5 metres with Magnum ammo, thats just stupid. Also, if you noticed we were being sniped from C , with SMG's! Again a SMG's effective range is low, about 200-300m tops. For example even our R5's here which are technicly assualt rifles have a accurate range of 450-550m. A submachine should have near the same as a pistol but more rapid fire. The balancing is not a bad idea but the reality is that a sniper will kill from long range, a medic should be a demon at short to medium range , an engi a terror to vehicles and good at short range combat and a assualt a excellant medium to short with the benfits of grenades. That is why the game is squad based.
PC is rubbish, especially in war! ( Political Correctness for the slow peeps)
Also I'll say it plainly, I think I let the team down a bit because I never practised with the new force effect. I was away since the patch so hadn't had a chance to see how the weapons handled post patch. What I learnt, pointedly, is that SMG's seem to have received a massive boost in both damge and accuaracy.
And the f**** changed the scope on the GOL. The most accurate sniper rifle is now limited to a scope where you have to guess the cross hair, what bull!

Dude, I have become so paranoid of medics because when you see one you better start shooting first. You especially always give me a fright when you come around the corner very quickly. My first reaction is too start shooting! I've TK'd you quite a bit, ey Worf? Hahahaha![]()
