Nice! thx for naming & shaming them.

I wonder how they assessed whether they were hacking (I know they hax, cause I've seen e.g Ticci standing in a spot the whole game and killing people all over the map) - but how do they figure it out?

Also, is there anything stopping them from just creating another account? Or can they somehow tell that its the same IP address?

ps. I will miss TK-ing (knifing) Ticci :(
 
I have no idea, I only provided some screenshots and made them aware of the guys and they probably watched them or checked logs...

There's no way of knowing by IP if he is using DSL. Dynamic IPs ftl in this regard. Yes, he will probably create another account, but if he does he will just get caught again. That is the cycle of the hacker.

The ISP keeps records of which IP was assigned to who during the time frame.

Yes but they won't be able to give that information to anyone without a warrant etc. You can't be criminally prosecuted for hacking so that's not going to happen.
 
I nearly fell off my chair, been contacted by a knowledgable person from telkoms side over my fault, rejoice folks, they actually do exist :D I hope to be back fraging soon!

Actually we can just rename it to the MyBB clan, we already play many games together other than BF:BC2 :D

Might as well get our own subsection while we're at it.


I was playing on the WAGE clan servers yesterday when I got kicked for high ping and I was using my webafrica account then I discovered my AV decided to start updating at that time.
