After watching all the posts, is MyBB, Right or Left?

EDIT : No poll option :)

Right, plenty racist posts that aren't reported or are unattended to.

You see it's all a foreign plot, getting the one side to kill off the other side, while the first side gets to be killed by the second side and by the time the ships land there will be less people here for the invaders to have to control. I call Teamwork.

Center with right tendencies. Board demographics here are predominantly white middel class afaik & therefore mostly centre with outliers on both sides in PD. The problem is that other things distort the situation on this forum:

e.g. Even a liberal person can lose faith in SA public services & thereby appear to have right wing tendencies.
e.g. Lots of people disillusioned with what the gov is doing with taxes, which might appear as right wing again.
e.g. Most of the people here fall into the ~5mil taxpayers category covering the bill for a nation of 50mil, so everyone is shouting for less taxes which is a classic right stance.

If you take the entire board population out of ZA context & associated issues then it'd end up as Center/Left.

Agreed.

Also more and more people joining mybb at late, don't come hear for broadband/tech news anymore. For some reason they feel at home here with their racist views.

Rather neutral IMO.

Plenty on the left tried to censor the forum with PC crud a while ago with a barrage of complaints and threats but the mods stood firm. Credit to them

depends on which sections of the forum,if you count the whole forum i would say neutral with a pinch of negativeness.

Explain first! Which side of the government is right and which side is left. With a "new" government the definition should change back to the International norm.

Bollocks.There is lotsa laaities here.
And in a few years time they will be earning >R58 000 & be taxpayers. For socio-economic background purposes they therefore fall solidly into the group that will be paying the taxes.

So I lumped "Taxpayers" and "Future taxpayers" into one category vs the non-taxpayers. It's not perfect. Feel free to sue me for generalizing a bit on a demographic matter.

Hello Sue!

As to the OP, I comment on the topic and apply my own common sense. Sometimes it is boringly conservative, other times it is rather extreme!

OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Aspirin, sun lotion, or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

A moment of silence.
