Hi there

We discovered an issue with the thread views (thanks for all the comments about it), and have identified what we believe causes the problem. We moved to another DB server for now – if you find any problems posting or viewing threads, please let us know.

Had my first double post like now in the "What's for lunch" thread.
 
Any chance whatsoever that the thread subscription tool might be revived? Otherwise, no longer having any of the greebles of yore plaguing posting or viewing... thanks!
 
It does feel the renders are happening more quickly now, but that just might be the placebo effect + confirmation bias.
 
rpm - not to rain on the parade here, but thread views have been wrong since the beginning of time. Thread replies regularly exceed views in specific circumstances & have done so for years.

Frankly not all too bothered by it though. e.g. if a google bot hits the forum hard then the threads might show artificially high views anyway...so I never treated it as massively reliable anyway.

Glad if its fixed though.
 
Had a generic database error from vB and a "could not establish database connection" error on the MyBB news page for about 2 minutes just now.
 
Not for me either.. working intermittently.
